Sarah Lynn Cox

Sarah Lynn Cox, 36, passed away May 12th, 2016, at her home in Jacksonville, Ark. Born May 30, 1979, to Donald Wayne and Cynthia Miller of St. Louis, she was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister and aunt. A 1997 graduate of Madison (Ill.) High School, she studied culinary arts at Pulaski Technical College in Little Rock and enjoyed books, movies, computer gaming, cooking and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her her husband of six years, Robert David Cox of Jacksonville, Ark., daughters Audra and Alexandria Grunden of Hillsdale, Mich.; sisters Rebecca Burkard (Eric) of Collinsville, Ill., and Kelly Miller of St. Louis; brother, Lucas Miller of Union, Mo.; her parents; grandmother Ida Loness of Berkley, Mo.; nephews Caleb and Logan Burkard; niece Hadley Miller; mother-in-law, Susan Lee Cox of East Cape Girardeau, Ill., and numerous extended family members and friends. Sarah was preceded in death by an aunt, Gail Carter; grandfathers, Lonnie Carter and Edward Loness, and grandmother, Ida Miller. Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. followed by services at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 21, 2016, at First Baptist Church in Charleston, Mo.
