Betty Jean Crow Goodson

Betty Jean Crow Goodson, age 79, of Little Rock, (formerly of Damascus), passed away May 19, 2016. She was born December 23, 1936 in Little Rock, Arkansas; and she was the daughter of Ira and Virgie Crow. Betty was a retired Little Rock School District Cafeteria Manager, as well as the co-owner of the Goodson Strawberry Farm that she operated with her husband. She was a volunteer at Care Caps and enjoyed gardening, decorating, flower arranging and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 40 years, Brian Goodson; a child, John Paul Goodson; and her brother, Roy Crow. Survivors include her children, James Goodson (Donna), Albert Goodson (Charla), and Tressie Akridge (Ray); four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters. Graveside Services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, May 23, 2016 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Little Rock. Visitation will be held after the Graveside Service until 1:30 p.m., at Mary Musgrove's Home on Hwy 10.
