E. Richard Coe, age 79, of Heber Springs passed away May 16, 2016 at Springhill Baptist Hospital in North Little Rock. He was born February 17, 1937 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, he was the son of the late Richard Mark Coe and Florence Leuella Coe nee LeRette. He was an active member of Cleburne County Baptist Church and a member of the Gideon Association. He also was a volunteer at Heber Springs Baptist Health Center. Mr. Coe graduated from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska in 1958, with a degree in pharmacy. He owned and operated his own pharmacy in Omaha, Nebraska for many years and later owned a pharmacy in Sloan, Iowa. He then worked in the Maricopa County Jail system in Phoenix, Arizona as a pharmacist in-charge. He is survived by his wife, Irmgard Coe nee Straubinger; his first wife, Nola Jane Dunagan nee Hamdorf; three sons, Richard Alan Coe (Barbara Ann) of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Robert James Coe (Patarrin) of Bangkok, Thailand and Gregory David Coe (Brenda) of Omaha, Nebraska; one step-son, Billie Norman Hill (Pam) of Geneva, Ohio; one daughter, Debra Jane Hart (Timothy) of Omaha, Nebraska; one step-daughter, Tanya Marie Grubbs of Heber Springs; one sister, Norma Jean Allgood of Omaha, Nebraska; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren: one nephew; one niece and many, many friends. His hobbies included fishing, cooking and spending time with his family. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, May 23, 2016 at Cleburne County Baptist Church with Brother Tim Crumpton officiating. Memorials may be made to Gideon International, P.O.
