Gladys Owens George

Gladys Owens George, age 96, of Sherwood, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2016. She was the daughter of Arthur and Maude Owens and the wife of Leo W. George. Gladys was a school teacher early in life and a mother and homemaker in her later years. She was of the Methodist faith and enjoyed traveling to craft fairs and gardening. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one son, Jimmy. Gladys is survived by her son Bill George, of Wisconsin, and special friends and caretakers, Ann and Ronny Baty, of Sherwood. Graveside services will be held, Monday, May 23, 2016 at 10 a.m., at Martindale Cemetery. Services entrusted to Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock.
