Mary Lou Arnold

Mary Lou Arnold, 88, of Lewisville, Texas passed away Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Vista Ridge Nursing and Rehab in Lewisville, Texas. She was born February 11, 1928 in Gurdon, Ark. to Bob and Essie Barfield Janes. She was owner of Mary's House of Beauty in Camden, Ark. and Mary's Hair Styles in Little Rock, Ark. After a long struggle with the effects of Alzheimer's she joined her Lord and Savior. She will be forever loved and missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Essie Barfield Janes; daughter, Cynthia Lynn Arnold; sister, Johnnie Sue Palmer; and lifelong partner, Jack Hillman. She is survived by son, Charles Arnold and wife, Charlotte of Plano, Texas; granddaughter, Emily Critchley and husband, Mike of Austin, Texas; and grandson, Charles Andrew Arnold of Little Rock, Ark. A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Camden, Ark. Visitation will be 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. Sunday before the service at the funeral home.
