Virginia Ann Whitford

VIRGINIA ANN "JENNY" WHITFORD age 70, of Jacksonville, known by many as "Mom," passed away on Friday, May 20, 2016. She retired from Bar Management with over 30 years of working locally. She was a friend to many and was never known to have met a stranger. She was preceded in death by her daughter Kathy Barrentine and her mother Virginia Rose. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, Nana and friend. She is survived by her husband Steve Whitford, her son Bobby Barrentine, her daughter Christina Whitford, five grandchildren; Courtney, Dustin, Alexis Jade, Joni Mae, Charlea Jo and her sisters,Carolyn Shumann, Patty Wheat and Betty Morris.
