Jimmie F. Manley, 76, of Aubrey, Arkansas passed away from this life on Saturday, May 21, 2016. He was born Tuesday, April 16, 1940 to Monroe F. Manley Jr. and Pearl Ruth Helms Manley. Mr. Manley is survived by his wife Martha Duke Manley, of Aubrey, Arkansas; one daughter, Stephanie Eddleman (Terry) of Searcy, Arkansas; one son, Jimmie "Franklin" Manley (Shawn) of Aubrey, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Travis Eddleman, Abby Eddleman Myers, Trent Eddleman (Megan), Marci Manley, Randal Manley, Mason Maynard, Tanner Henley; two great-grandchildren, Jase Myers, Molly Eddleman; two brothers, Monroe F. Manley III (Martha) of Springdale, Arkansas and David Monroe Manley of Paragould, Ark. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, friends and a special four-legged companion "Bridgett." He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Wynona Manley. Mr. Manley was a former elder at Aubrey Church of Christ, current member of Twin City Church of Christ, and a life-long Sunday School teacher. He began his farming career in partnership with Earl Stiles, Jr., a life-long friend. He was a certified pilot. He was a former chairman of Farm Services Agency of Lee County, and served on the Boards of Tri County Farmers Association and Black Swamp Drainage District. Services for Mr. Manley will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna, Arkansas. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 24, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. also at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Spring Creek Cemetery in Aubrey, Arkansas.
