Blanche Kendrick

Blanche Kendrick, 89, went to be with her Lord on May 25, 2016. She was born in Pine Ridge, Arkansas, to the late Isaac and Edie Singleton. She was married to Bill Kendrick for 38 years. They lived in the Back Gate community near Dumas, Arkansas until his death in 1984. She was active in the area as an Avon representative and especially loved participating in elections and worked on every occasion. In 2010, she moved to Madison, Tenn. with her daughters, Jan and Vicki Kendrick. She was a member of the Inglewood Baptist Church and the Faithful Workers Sunday School class there. She is survived by her daughters; "adopted" daughter, Ayn Robertson; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and her special sister-in-law, Margaret Jarrett and husband James. Visitation from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday, May 28, at Griffin Funeral Home in Dumas, with service to follow at 1 p.m., interment at Walnut Lake Cemetery.
