Merle F. Williams

MERLE F. WILLIAMS, 87, of Little Rock was born Jan. 1, 1929 in Yell County, Ark., to parents Les Faulkner and Audie Robinson Faulkner. She passed away May 15, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Col. (Ret.) Robert Williams. She was of the Catholic faith and her favorite hobbies included playing bridge and golf. She made many friends and enjoyed playing in golf tournaments at the Maumelle Country Club. She is survived by her son, Lt. Col. (Ret.) Michael F. Daly and grandchildren Dan and Jennifer. Other survivors include Sarah Oslin, Susan and Brian Blaydes their children Jordan and Devan as well as the Parker and Robinson families and close family friends Kim Perkins and Tim Martin. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth Funeral Home, 5800 West 12th Street in Little Rock with the family receiving guests beginning at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Little Rock.
