TSgt. Jerry Lee Derickson U.S.A.F. (Ret.)

TSGT. JERRY LEE DERICKSON, U.S.A.F. (RET.) 74, of Jacksonville, passed away on May 27, 2016. He was born on Feb. 20, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late William Luther and Verna Mae (Ackerson) Derickson. TSgt. Derickson retired from the United States Air Force in 1981, then, retired from the United States Post Office. Survivors include his wife, Hazel (Simons) Derickson; two daughters, Donna Bates, her husband, Fred and Leigh Dehn; four grandchildren, Jerry Smith, Joshua Dehn, Jeffery Dehn, Katie Stout; two great-grandchildren, Addilynn Dehn, Cheyenne Stout, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tim Reed officiating. Interment will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
