James Henry Langford Jr.

James Henry Langford Jr., 91, passed away Monday, October 31, 2016. He was born December 24, 1924 in Flint, Michigan to James and Alta Shumaker Langford. James had a degree in Industrial Engineering, he worked for General Motors in the Buick division in Flint, Michigan and also Dayton Malleable in Ironton, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Marie Langford, one son, James Langford, two brothers, Leo Lawrence Langford and Robert Langford, one sister, Mary Sloan, one grandchild, Bekka Langford. Survivors include, one son Charles Scott and wife Kim of Mississippi; two daughters, Susan Hunter of West Virginia ; and Patricia Langford of Springdale; three grandchildren, Matthew Langford, Michael Goldcamp and Maria Hodges, and seven great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 10 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Springdale with Rev. Judy Van Hoose officiating.
