A. Leon Baugh

A. Leon Baugh, 80, of Little Rock passed away on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016. He was born in Jonesboro, Ark. on Mar. 6, 1936 to Henry Herbert and Bertha Mae Baugh. He retired as a supervisor from United Hoist and Crane and was a member of Geyer Springs First Baptist Church. Alva was a retired veteran of the United Sates Navy. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Nell Baugh of Little Rock; sons, Alva Leon Baugh, Jr of Batesville, Hosie Allen Baugh of Center Ridge, Ark; grandchildren, Phillip Travis Baugh, Alva Leon Baugh, III, Shannon Renee Dunn, Lauren Nicole Dunlap, John Allen Baugh; great grandchildren, Diamond Renee Dunn, Robert Nicolas Dunn, Edwin Russell Levi Baugh, Mason Lee Baugh, Landon Michael Dunlap; adopted daughter, Darlene McMoran; nieces & nephews, Wanetta Kohl, Lavada White, Randy Woodard, Frankie Woodard, Ricky Woodard, Robin Kay Baugh Clem, Bobby L. Baugh Gann, Michael David Baugh, David Ryan Baugh, James Robert Burchett, Larry Baugh; several other nieces and nephew and many cousins he loved very much and one favorite cousin Ethel Milam of Little Rock. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Ava Lavone Baugh; brothers, Henry W. Baugh, Charles Ellis Baugh; sisters, Clara Malvena Burchett, Irene Baugh Mikles and Ethel Marie Hearn and nephew, Robert Lee Clem. Visitation will be held prior to services starting at 12 noon on Wednesday, Nov. 2 at Geyer Springs First Baptist Church with funeral services starting at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. The family wishes to thank Arkansas Heart Hospital especially to Dr. Wilson Wong and staff, Evergreen Nursing and Rehab Administration and staff for their kindness and compassion. Visitation will be held prior to services starting at 12 noon on Wednesday, November 2nd at Geyer Springs First Baptist Church with funeral services starting at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.
