Clifton Ervin Roberts

Clifton Ervin Roberts, age 95, of Searcy, died Tuesday, November 1, 2016 in Searcy. He was born July 18, 1921 in Judsonia to John Calvin Roberts and Ollie Edith Elizabeth Beals Roberts. He was a US Navy Veteran, life member of the VFW, and retired from General Motors where he built train engines. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Lois Roberts; two step-daughters; and five grandchildren to whom he was lovingly known as Uncle-Grandpa. He is preceded in death by his parents; five brothers; three sisters; one granddaughter; and one step-son. Visitation will be Saturday morning from 9 until 10 a.m. at Powell Funeral Home.
