Cappie Fortenberry Griffin

Funeral services for Mrs. Cappie Fortenberry Griffin, age 52, of Little Rock, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Lisa Mayo officiating. Cappie was a teacher for over 20 years and obtained her Respiratory Therapy license in 2014. She was a graduate of Prairie View Academy in Bastrop, La and Northeast Louisiana University as well as Southeast Arkansas College. She is survived by her husband Larry R. Griffin of Sheridan, Ark.; her children Stephanie Fortenberry of West Monroe, La.; Shelby Fortenberry of Monticello, Ark.; Cory Griffin of Sheridan, Ark.; brother Jeff Thompson of Carl Junction, Mo.; grandchildren, Kagan Griffin and John Ross Tubbs; nieces, Audry Thompson and Jenna Thompson as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Cappie is preceded in death by her parents, Shelby "Gene" Thompson and Carolyn Britt Thompson as well as her grandparents, Robert Eddie Britt and Leatrice Britt, Shelby and Ella Thompson.
