Clayton Dale Frederick

Clayton Dale Frederick, 73, of Fayetteville passed away Monday, November 7, 2016 in Fayetteville surrounded by family and friends. He was born July 27, 1943 in Fayetteville to Fount and Bertha Myers Frederick. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Clayton was owner/operator of a trucking company; a member of Civitan International; was a Drake Field airport manager; a Fayetteville Firefighter; an outstanding fisherman; loved to travel; and was an avid Razorbacks fan. He was not scared to face "decision." He is preceded in death by his parents, Fount and Bertha Frederick. Clayton is survived by his wife, Mary Pretty Frederick of the home; daughters, Sherry Stidman and husband, Scott of West Fork and Terry Cornelius and husband, Aaron of Fayetteville; son, Timothy Frederick and partner, Theresa Warford of Fayetteville; two grandchildren, Spencer Stidman and Taryn Cornelius; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the Sons Chapel Church with Reverend Rex Eaton officiating. Interment will follow in Sons Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Beard's Chapel. Pallbearers will be Aaron Cornelius, Timothy Frederick, Gary Harvey, David Frederick, Evan House and Dennis Frederick. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris, Michael and Robert Harvey.
