Lynn Lyle Kennedy

Lynn Lyle Kennedy III, 67, of Pea Ridge passed away unexpectedly Sunday, November 6th in Grove, Oklahoma. He was born August 21, 1949 in Waco, Texas to the late Lynn Lyle Kennedy Jr. and Mary Crow Kennedy. He proudly served as an instructor in the US Army before beginning a long career in sales and marketing. He enjoyed antique cars, sailing, gardening, playing numerous musical instruments and all things train; miniature or full size. His love of reading prompted an important contribution to the Pea Ridge library, during its early years, that made an expansion possible. He was preceded by his parents and a daughter, Donna Ellis. Survivors include his companion in life, Katherine Pruitt; a daughter, Malinda McFadden of Jay, Oklahoma; two sons, David Kennedy of Washington state and Donald Pruitt (Teresa) of Bentonville; 27 grandchildren and great-grandchildren and numerous dear friends. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, November 11 and the Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Chapel of Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.
