Michael W. Mitchell

Michael W. Mitchell, 78, of Carlisle, died Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at his home. Michael was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Long Island, New York. He was a collision repair specialist and a farmer. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Alice Mitchell and a sister, Lynda Joslyn. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen McMenemy Mitchell; two daughters, Tara Bennett (David) of Carlisle and Holly Mitchell of New York; four sisters, Michelle Mitchell; Mary Mitchell, and Rosie Quinn all of New Jersey and Cynthia Sherman of Pennsylvania; two granddaughters, Makenzie and Tristan Bennett. Visitation will be from 10 to 12 noon, Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen.
