RAYMOND EDWARD MOSLEY, 83, of Jacksonville, husband and beloved father, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Friday, Nov. 11, 2016. Raymond was born to parents, Marion Bedford and Gracie Irene Mosley on July 7, 1933 in Nashville, Tenn. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Vivian, two daughters; Vicki and her husband Junior, and Denise; one son; Michael, two grandsons; Chris and Sean, one brother and countless friends. Raymond lost his father at age twelve and entered the adult work world to care for his mom and siblings. He later earned his GED while based at Vandenburg Air Force Base in California. He met and married the love of his life on December 3, 1951. Raymond entered the United States Air Force at the age of nineteen, where he served his country for the next twenty one and a half years. He then retired as a Master Sergeant and went to work at St. Vincent's Infirmary in Little Rock, Ark., in 1970, where he later retired at age fifty five. He actively served several years on the Hospital Board of the Jacksonville Rebsamen Memorial Hospital and was an active, faithful and beloved member of Second Baptist Church in Jacksonville the past forty five years. He will be missed. Raymond's legacy of honor and life of excellence will live on in the hearts of his children, grandchildren and all who were blessed to know him for years to come. Raymond loved the Lord and his family and friends were his heart. Surely, his Heavenly Father met him with "Well done, my good and faithful servant." Very special to Raymond was his caregiver at home, Renatta, who loved and encouraged him and provided the most excellent of care-We love you, Renatta! Special thanks are given to all the hospice staff at Bowman Road, Dr. Sauer and the many sweet and kind angels who cared so lovingly for our precious daddy, mom and family during this difficult time, We love you all! There will be a brief celebration of Raymond's life at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2016 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home & Crematory (501) 982-2136.
