Mark Alan Loftin

Mark Alan Loftin, born June 26, 1974, of Roland, passed away peacefully at home November 13, 2016. Mark attended Little Rock schools until moving aboard his family's sailboat in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. His happiest memories were of that time as he learned to love the ocean, being tutored by his mother, scuba diving and sailing to Bimini and the Bahamas. Returning to Little Rock to attend Parkview HS & UALR, Mark became an accomplished musician, playing and traveling extensively with his band, Mr. Happy. He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Loftin (Donn Barkere) of Alexander; father, Ron E. Loftin, Sr. (Frances Loftin) of Roland, Ark. He was preceded in death by his brother Ron E. Loftin, Jr. Mark will be missed by his family, many friends and his beloved dogs, Beckett, Sammy and Sadie. "Mark and Ron, Jr. now sail together."
