Benny Luther Lundy, 82, of Rogers, died November 16 at Shiloh Nursing and Rehab in Springdale. He was born December 14, 1933 in Busch, Arkansas to Jake Ernie Lundy and Angie Clara Robinette Lundy. He was a US Army Veteran serving in Korea. He loved visiting with friends at Townsend Barber Shop and fishing. He loved to serve the Lord and was a member and Deacon of First Baptist Church in Rogers. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Tomilee Lundy; three brothers, Willie, J.C. and Ernie Lundy; two sisters, Lorene Beard and Betty Martin. Survivors are a son, Mark Lundy (Karen) of Rogers; two daughters, Lee Ann Burton (Mike) of Springdale, Nancy Evans (Jerrall) of Ponca City, Okla.; a sister, Pearl Patterson of Bentonville; six grandchildren, Ben, Ellen, and Erin Lundy, Abigail, Chappell and Bridget Burton and Joshua Evans; one great- grandson, Benjamen Coy Lundy as well as many dear nieces and nephews. Service is set for 2 p.m. Saturday, November 19 at First Baptist Church on Eighth and Olive in Rogers. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. Burial will be in Benton County Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at noon before the service at the church.
