H.P. Sisk, 93, passed away peacefully at his home in Parkin on November 16, 2016. H.P. was born in Bay Village, Arkansas on November 11, 1923 to Irvin Sisk, Sr. And Cecil Grubbs Sisk. He married Dorothy Lovell in 1942,and they celebrated 73 years together. H.P. was a man of honor and integrity who deeply loved God, his family and his country. He was a dedicated farmer, an avid sportsman, especially of duck, deer and quail hunting, a loyal friend and a pillar of his community. He was a longtime member of the Parkin First United Methodist Church and of the Parkin Lions Club. He served his country in the U.S. Army. Survivors are his sons, Richard Sisk and wife Sharon, Jeff Sisk and wife Donna, all of Wynne and daughter Carol Sisk Thomason and husband Gene of Hot Springs , 13 grandchildren, Derek, Tyler, Tim, Aimee, Stacie, Jody, Jay,Kelsey, Kayla, Lindsay, Skyla, Rhonda, Kevin, 22 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and special nephew, Lance Lovell and his family of Wynne. The family deeply appreciates his devoted caregivers, Becky Dixon, Connie Nichols, Freda Jones and Martha Key and the St. Bernard Hospice nurses. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Sisk, his parents, Irvin and Cecil Sisk, and his brother, Irvin Sisk Jr. A private graveside service was held on Friday at 2 p.m. at the Veteran's Cemetery in Birdeye. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 19 at the Parkin First United Methodist Fellowship Hall at 10 a.m. followed by a memorial service in the sanctuary at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Parkin First United Methodist Church, P.O.
