Mary Jane Dobrovich

Mary Jane Dobrovich, formerly of Raleigh, N.C., passed away Friday. Miss Dobrovich was born July 27, 1921, in Slovak, Ark., to Joseph and Julia Saska Dobrovich. She attended Draughan Business College and began working for Southern Farm Bureau in Arkansas, then moved to North Carolina and worked for North Carolina Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company where she worked full time for 33 years. She was a faithful Catholic and attended Sacred Heart Cathedral in Raleigh where she was described as the ultimate volunteer. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Joe, Steve and Martin; and three sisters, Elizabeth Janoviak, Helen Papan and Adeline Dobrovich. Survivors are three nephews, five nieces and many great-nieces and great-nephews. Rosary service will be 10 a.m. Monday at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Slovak. Funeral mass, officiated by Rev. Clayton Gould, will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at the church cemetery by Turpin Funeral Home of Stuttgart. Memorials may be made to Sts.
