Betty Ruth Poskey Blocher

Betty Ruth Poskey Blocher, age 84, of Searcy, Arkansas, formerly of Fair Play, South Carolina, died Monday, November 21, 2016 in Searcy. She was born March 10, 1932 in Hackleburg, Alabama to Grover Sullens and Ethel Roberson Sullens. She is survived by three sons, T.C. Poskey and wife Cynthia of Searcy, Keith Poskey of Jacksonville, Florida, Ken Poskey of Marietta, Georgia; and one sister, Gwen Burleson of Mobile, Alabama. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Phillip Blocher; five brothers; and one sister. Visitation is Wednesday from 5 until 7 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home. Graveside funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Oconee Memorial Gardens in Seneca, South Carolina.
