Robert Lewis Sisson

Robert Lewis Sisson, 78, of Thornton died Monday November 21, 2016 at UAMS in Little Rock. Born July 29, 1938 at Ramsey, he was a son of the late Hugh Van Sisson and Lottie Juanita Meece Sisson. He was a deacon at Prosperity Baptist Church and was the owner of Sisson Construction, which he started in 1970 and incorporated in 1974. He was also a Staff Sergeant in the Army and was called to active duty when Central High School in Little Rock was integrated. He is survived by his wife, Frankie Sisson of Thornton; two sons, David Lucas and his wife Jennifer of Kennedy, Ala., Christopher Sisson and his wife Felicia of Kennedy, Ala.; two daughters, Vicki Huckabay and husband Larry of Paragould, Kambrea Shuler of Thornton; brother Billy Sisson of Fordyce; sister, Jean Jordan of Fordyce; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
