Della Josephine Page Oxendine Plackard

Della Josephine Page Oxendine Plackard, age 59, of Sheridan, passed away peacefully in her home on Nov. 25, 2016. She was born Aug. 2, 1957 to the late Jewell Elisha and Oleta Mae Galloway Page. Della worked for Jefferson Regional Homecare for over 20 years and touched many lives as a caregiver. She was a wonderful mother, partner, and friend to so many. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Albert Plackard, of Sheridan, her sons; Danny Oxendine, of Sheridan, and A.J. Plackard and wife Holly, of Sheridan, her daughters; Corrina Oxendine, of Sheridan, and Alisha Johnson and husband Josh, of Sheridan, six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Rosary will begin at 5 p.m., Monday, Nov. 28, 2016, with a visitation to follow until 7 p.m. at Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan.
