Mary Alice McDonald

Mary Alice McDonald, age 86 of Mountain Home passed away Saturday Nov. 26, 2016 in Mountain Home. She was born Feb. 6, 1930 in Jacksonville, Ark., to Willie Ivey and Levadell Copeland Ivey. She married Joseph McDonald. She was a member of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, sewing and furniture refinishing. Mrs. McDonald is survived by a son, Pat McDonald of Malvern; four grandchildren, Kimberly (Robert) Stubbs, Rebecca (Chad) Rupert, John (Sarah) McDonald and Amanda (Daniel) Howard; seven great-grandchildren, Bethany, Matthew and Hannah Stubbs, Shelby and Luke Rupert and Tim and Elizabeth McDonald; two son-in-laws, Argyle Hopkins and Larry King. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Charlene Hopkins and Sarah Wallace-King; her husband, Joseph McDonald; one brother and four sisters. Graveside services will be held at noon Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016 at Pinecrest Cemetery in Alexander, Ark. Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
