Freda Ann Belknap

Freda Ann Belknap, 80, of Little Rock, entered into rest on Monday, November 28, 2016. She was born March 10, 1936 in Bee Branch, Arkansas to the late Jim W. and Odell Cargile Lyle. Freda was a member of Barnett Memorial Baptist Church. She was an avid reader and loved taking her dog Gracie on walks. Since retirement, she has enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Freda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bernie Belknap and infant son, Gary Hicks. She is survived by her son, Rodney (Dawn) Belknap of Little Rock, daughter, Sandy (Richard) Thompson of Little Rock, brothers, Tommy (Dianne) Smith of Alexander, Larry (Phyllis) Smith of Alexander, sisters, Bobbie (Carl) Kraehmer of Bryant and Linda (Barry) Doland of Mass., grandchildren, Toby and Nici, a host of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews as well as many other family and friends. Graveside services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Pine Crest Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday at Ashbys, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. On line guestbook at www.ashbyfuneralhome.com.
