Sandra Sue Walters

Sandra Sue Smith Walters, 73 of Benton, passed away September 29, 2016 after a long battle with PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy). She was born September 17, 1943 in Houston, Texas. Sandra was preceded in death by her father, Loyd Smith; grandparents, Boyd and Melba Cagle; mother, Wanda and step-father, Buster Francis; and sister, Jan Smith. She is survived by her husband, Stanley Walters of Benton; sons, Stan (Susan) Walters of Texarkana, Texas, Jeff Walters of Benton; grandchildren, Stevie, Madi, Jack, Drew and Reid Walters; brothers, Steve (Mary Earl) Smith of Fayetteville and Luke (Teri) Francis of Benton. Graveside services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 11 a.m. Monday at Rose Hedge Cemetery in Gurdon, Arkansas with Bro. John Baxley officiating. Visitation will be at Ashbys, Sunday, 6-8 p.m. The family wishes to thank Saline Memorial Hospice for their excellent care and memorials made be made to them in Sandra's name.
