Elizabeth Dannell "Missy" Willis

Elizabeth Dannell "Missy" Willis, 47, of Fayetteville, passed away Friday, September 30, 2016 in Fayetteville. She loved playing bingo at the Fayetteville Senior Center and the Nantucket Senior Inn, and also loved family camping and fishing trips. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Eugene Willis; her father, Arkley Garrett; and two grandmothers, Myrtle Garrett and Evelyn Tate. She is survived by her loving fiancé, Jerry Mathis of Greenwood; a daughter Michelle Davidson and husband Stanton of Alma; her mother and daddy, Joyce and Robert Woosley of Fayetteville; a brother, Donnas Wade Tate and wife Cathy of Ringgold, Ga.; and two grandsons, Benton and Bryce Davidson. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at the Fort Smith National Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, Ark. Pallbearers will be Jerry Mathis, Stanton Davidson, Jackie Wills, Bradley Stanfield, Wade Tate, and Jeff Knight. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnnie Tate, Benton Davidson, and Bryce Davidson. The family will visit with friends from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2016 until the funeral hour at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, Ark. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fayetteville Senior Center, 945 South College Avenue, Fayetteville, Ark. 72701, or to the Willard Walker Hospice House, 325 East Longview Street, Fayetteville, Ark. 72703.
