Kirk R. Nance, 43, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away October 4, 2016. He was born April 6, 1973, in Fordyce, Arkansas, to O.R. "Monk" and Margie Ruth (Garner) Nance. Kirk was the principal of Lake Hamilton High School. He was also very involved at Hot Springs Baptist Church, where he served as a Sunday school teacher and an assistant choir director. Kirk was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his wife, Cari Nance; sons, Brodie Nance, Baylor "Pete" Nance; daughter, Bethany Burton; sister, Wendy Graschel (Jeff); mother, Margie Nance; grandparents, Sybil and Dusty Lansdale; a host of friends and loved ones and the entire Lake Hamilton School Community. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. A celebration of Kirk's life will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Lake Hamilton Wolf Arena with Pastor Manley Beasley, Pastor Mike Smith, and Bro. John Bridges officiating. There will also be a memorial service at 3:30 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Fordyce. A private burial will take place at Tolson Cemetery in Fordyce. Pallbearers will be the gentlemen from the Remoras Sunday School Class at Hot Springs Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your local church.
