Mentorie Montague

Mentorie Elizabeth Pennington Montague, age 100, of Little Rock, died on Sept. 28, 2016 at home. She was born on August 20, 1916 in McNeil, AR, to Rev. John Ezekiel Pennington and Fannie Brown Pennington. She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, her husband, Rev. W.C. Montague, two daughters, Vanessa Montague and Harriette Colbert and son Fred D. Montague. She is survived by five children, Harold Montague, William Montague Jr., Celestine Wesley, Velva Jones, and Freeda Williams. Family hour will be held Friday, October 7 from 6-7 p.m. at Premier Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 8, 11 a.m. at Rufus K. Young Christian Church.
