William Bruce "Bud" Oliver Sr.

William Bruce "Bud" Oliver Sr., 90, of Fayetteville passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at his home. He was born October 28, 1925 in Webber Falls, Okla. to James and Dolly Wages Oliver. He was an Army WWII veteran; a mechanic; a farmer and a partner at Shuler Autohaus. He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Nadine Baxter Oliver; a son, Brentley Howard Oliver; daughters, Rosemarie and Virginia Lee Oliver; a sister, Cleda Fong; and a brother, Jack Jordan Oliver. Bud is survived by a son, Bruce Oliver and wife, Helen of Lincoln, Ark.; daughters, Johnnie Ann Watkins and husband, Joe K. of Elkins, Ark., Jennine McCleland and husband, George B. of Fayetteville, Ark. and Jamie Cavness and husband, Joel of Westville, Okla.; brothers, Manford Oliver and wife, JoAnn of Oakdale, Calif. Carl Oliver of Chloride, Ariz. and Jerry Oliver and wife, Marilyn of Sacramento, Calif.; a sister, Pauline Nichel of Wisconsin; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2016 at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro, Okla. with David Daniels officiating under the direction of Beard's Chapel.
