Monica Kay Tedford (Lovelace)

Monica Kay Tedford (Lovelace) passed away on Monday, September 26, 2016 from a stroke and heart attack at the age of 63. Monica was born to parents John and Mildred Lovelace on July 5th, 1953 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She attended Sylvan Hills High School. Monica had two brothers and one sister. She began work in the avionics field in her 20's. She worked in aviation for most of her life and retired in the late 1990's. She gave birth and raised two boys, and was a hardworking mother. Her boys were her world. Monica enjoyed her work in aviation but she also loved working in the antique business, which she did for many years. She loved to go to antique stores, garage sales, estate sales, and flea markets hunting for treasures. She also loved music and entertaining friends and family. Monica also enjoyed fishing, camping and being outdoors. Most of all she loved being a mother. Monica is survived by her two sons, Nathan Lovelace and Kyle Atkinson of Dallas, Texas; her sister, Theresa Laurenzana; and her brother, Ronald Lovelace. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Tony Lovelace. A memorial service will be held at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park at 7724 Landers Rd. in North Little Rock, Arkansas, in the chapel on October 8, 2016 at 2 p.m. The family is very much grateful for your condolences and support.
