Joseph Donaghey "Don" Hutson Jr., age 79, of Rogers passed away Friday, October 7, 2016, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on September 26, 1937. He went to school in Carlisle, Arkansas and graduated from Castle Heights Military Academy in Lebanon, Tennessee. He attended Hendrix College in Conway and University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. While at U of A, he received his masters degree and played football for the Razorbacks. After graduation he joined the FBI where he was a agent for several years. He also worked in estate planning and was with J.B. Hunt Transport for many years. Mr. Hutson was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Evelyn Hutson. He is survived by his wife, Carole, sons, Daniel and Rory and wife Alicia, sister, Marilyn (Cissie) May and grandchildren, Braden, Tiffany, Isiah, Jace and Ivy. A graveside service will be held at Carlisle Cemetery on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial's may be made to the Salvation Army or Carlisle First United Methodist Church, where Don attended his entire young life. The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff of Highlands Oncology, Benton County Diagnostics, and Circle of Life Hospice for their loving care and attention.
