Ilene Spurgeon

Ilene Spurgeon, 87, widow of Winifred Ishmael Spurgeon, died Tuesday. Her son, Timothy Michael Spurgeon of DeWitt, and many nieces and nephews survive her. Ilene taught school in Humphrey. Funeral is 10 a.m. Thursday at Turpin Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior. Burial is 3 p.m. at Mount Gilead Cemetery at Black Springs. www.turpin-co.com.
