Joann Forester Turley

Services for Joann Forester Turley, 86, will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Rose-Neath Marshall Street Chapel, Shreveport, La. Officiating will be Rev. Siegfried Kunz. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Joann was born on December 22, 1929 in Lacy, Ark. to Callie Lucille Spencer and John Kirby Forester and passed away on October 11, 2016 in Shreveport, La. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Mary Culpepper and husband, James, her brother, Bobby Forester, and her brother-in-law, Louis McAlister. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Paula Turley Loftice and husband, Bobby, and Terri Sepulvado and husband, Dennis; her grandchildren, Jason Pelham, Cristal Adams, and Joey Adams; her great-grandchildren, Joey, Allison, Carson, and Hannah; her sister, Helen McAlister; and numerous nieces and nephews. Honorary pallbearers for Joann will be Mike McAlister, Louis McAlister, Steve Parker, Tom Clatterbuck, Dale Travis, and Chris McCurry.
