Sonny McKinney

Sonny (Donald) McKinney, 65 of Van Buren passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016 in his home. He was a salesman for ArcBest Corporation U-Pack Division in Fort Smith and a Partner of Momentum Church of Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Polly Baker and Don McKinney and his step-father, James Baker. He is survived by his wife, Jacquie McKinney of the home; one son, Nate McKinney of Little Rock; four daughters, Kate Matthews and husband Mickey of Little Rock, Shallan Lansdell and husband Jason of Van Buren, Brittany Waymire and husband Jason of Poteau and Andrea Lopez and husband Kendall of Bartlett, Tenn.; four sisters, Jeanie Head and husband Jonathan of Little Rock, Melinda McKinney of Naples, Fla., Laurie Stiewert of Texas and Jan Troutt of Houston; step-mother, Pauline McKinney of Bryant, Ark.; seven grandchildren, Piper Waymire, Waylon Matthews, Logan Waymire, Tyler Matthews, Luke Waymire, Jack Lansdell, Harrison Lansdell; one grand-dog Ozzie. Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2016 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren. Family will visit with relatives and friends Sunday, October 16, 2016 from 4-6 p.m. at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street Van Buren. Pallbearers will be Dan Henson, Andrew Dibble, Mike Lopez, Lindsey Actkinson, Larry Owen, Corbett Carr, and Tim Malone.
