Brenda Joyce Steely

Brenda Joyce Steely, age 74 of Cabot, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Oct. 13, 2016. She was born Aug. 21, 1942 to the late Arvel and Mary Lee (Cain) Clark. Brenda leaves behind to carry on her legacy of love, two sons Scott (Ashley) Steely and Bradley (Rebeckah) Steely; one sister Peggy Clark; four grandchildren Mollee, Abbey, Bryson and Tyler and her beloved dog "Sassy" along with many other family members, church family and dear friends. Brenda was a Claims Representative for State Farm and Pyramid Life Insurance. She was an Eastern Star member and a member of Old Austin Baptist Church. Brenda was saved by grace and a faithful servant to her Lord and Savior. She loved traveling, planning and organizing every single family event. Time spent with her family was very precious to her especially time spent with her four grandchildren that she loved so dearly. The family would like to say a special thanks to Dr. David Gerson & Dr. Gregory Bienvenu for the care of Brenda. Visitation will be held Monday. October 17, 10-11 a.m. at Old Austin Baptist Church with Services immediately following at 11 a.m., also at the church. Interment at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
