VELMA "DARLENE" BURKETT of Little Rock, Ark., on Sept. 28, 2016, DarLene spirit went to be with the Lord. DarLene was preceded in death by her Grandparents; and sisters, Penny Pritchett, JoAnn Pridgett, and Max Weaver. She is survived by her husband, David Burkett; three daughters, Latoya Burkett, Ciara Burkett, and Azja Burkett; parents: Father, Samuel Phillips, Barbara Phillips; Mother, Betty Jean Bolden and Malcolm Bolden; Aunt, Velma Weaver-Brown (William Weaver); siblings, Marlana Phillips-Lewis, Dana Phillips, Christopher Phillips (Melony), Charlotte Phillips-Franklin, Jaqueline Dean, and John Pridgett, Jacque Weaver, William Weaver (Natasha), Victor Weaver, Dineen Weaver, Wayne Weaver, Chris Weaver, Felicia Weaver; Godchildren: Morgan Reese Wellons, William Wesley Weaver III, Latricia Anderson and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016, 12 noon, at Liberty Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 1215 S. Schiller St., Little Rock, Ark.
