Loy Edward Mashburn

Loy Edward Mashburn, born in Haskell, Okla. on Jan. 21, 1931, passed away October 10, 2016 in Fayetteville, Ark., at the age of 85. Loy was a 20 year retiree from the United States Army and was employed for 25 years as a cross-country truck driver at Willis Shaw Express. He is survived by son David Mashburn and wife, Louise of Fayetteville, Ark.; daughter, Beth Dillard and husband, John of Springdale, Ark.; son, Mark Mashburn and wife, Gaile of North Palm Beach, Fla.; and daughter, Rebecca Mashburn of Farmington, Ark.; a sister, Lenora Hobbs of Foley, Mo.; a sister-in-law, Susie Mashburn of Ozark, Mo.; 9 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016, 10 a.m. at Beard's Funeral Chapel. Officiating will be Pastor Jasper Hankins and Donald Brannan. Cremation arrangements by Beard's Funeral Chapel.
