James Edward Wilson, age 86, a resident of Avoca, Arkansas, passed away October 17, 2106 surrounded by his family at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville. He was born February 11, 1930 in Combs, Arkansas, the son of Clifford James and Bertha Mae Black Wilson. James retired from Wilbert Vault Company after over 25 years of service, before going to work for Wilbert he had worked many years for Piles Concrete Vault and Septic Tanks. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Dora Wilson, one brother, Howard Wilson and one sister, Millie Lois Munson, and stepsons, David Reynolds and Wayne Reynolds. Survivors include his four children, Betty Wilson Strout and husband Tim of Rogers, Jim Wilson and wife Linda of Brookhaven, Mississippi, Bill Wilson and wife Patty of Cullman, Alabama and Bob Wilson and wife Tammy of Madison, New York; his stepson, Kevin Reynolds and wife Julie of Bentonville; stepdaughters-in-law, Lynette Reynolds of Avoca, and Patty Pianalto of Springdale; nine grandchildren, Jared Strout and wife Meagan, Kristal Williams, Cody McCullough, Kelsie McCullough, Amber Wilson, Austin Wilson, Brandon Reynolds and wife Cassie, and Nathan Reynolds, Christopher Burnside and wife Crissy; nine great-grandchildren, Nick, Kailey, Branden, Amorie, Brinley, Camden, Caden, Kennedy, and Cooper; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Service will be held Saturday October 22, 2016, 2 p.m. at Bluff Cemetery in Springdale. Pallbearers will be: Jared Strout, Cody McCullough, Nathan Reynolds, Jim Wilson, Bill Wilson and Bob Wilson. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to your local animal shelter in James' memory.
