Ronald Leroy Loveless, 73, of Rogers, Arkansas went home to the arms of the Lord on October 17, 2016. He was born October 6, 1943, in Hiwasse, Arkansas to Angie Ritchey and Clifford Loveless. Ron cherished time spent with his family and countless friends. He touched so many with his warmth, charisma and one-of-a-kind personality. His legacy is immeasurable. Of many hobbies, Ron's favorite pastimes were fishing, golf with his buddies at Lost Springs, and anything remotely related to a competition. Ron, after serving four years in the U.S. Air Force, was honorably discharged in 1966. Loveless was a retired Walmart/Sam's Club executive known for his leadership skills and sense of humor. Loveless retired from Walmart as CEO of the Sam's Club division in 1986 after a career working alongside Sam Walton, who had mentored him throughout his career. The author of the widely acclaimed "Walmart Inside Out", a personal account of his time with the world's largest retailer, Loveless was known for his post-retirement support of Horses for Healing, ALS – Arkansas Chapter, Bentonville's Youth Baseball League, The Walmart Museum, and anyone who needed a helping hand, especially those in need of business mentoring. He was preceded in death by his mother, Angie Allmendinger Ritchey and husband Bernie Ritchey; his father, Clifford Loveless; and a sister, Patricia Musteen. He is survived by his wife, Robin Loveless; a daughter, Kim Loveless, a son, Ronnie Loveless II and wife, Debby Loveless, a daughter, April Allen; three grandchildren, Kody Taylor, Ronald (Tripp) Loveless III, and Morgan Loveless; a sister, Connie Hollis and husband, Frank Hollis; a brother-in-law, Dale Musteen and wife, Wanda Musteen; and numerous nieces, nephews and the Allmendinger and Hufford Families. Visitation will be Thursday, October 20th from 6-8 p.m. at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services (2898 W. Walnut, Rogers, Ark.). Services will be held on Friday, October 21st at 1 p.m. at Monte Ne Baptist Church (1610 Monte Ne Road, Rogers, Ark.), and burial at Benton County Memorial Park (3800 W. Walnut, Rogers, Ark.) immediately following.
