Paul Lee Farmer, 71, of Little Rock, died October 17, 2016. Born April 14, 1945 in Little Rock, he was the son of Monchia G. and Ester McQueen Farmer. A member of First Baptist Church of Little Rock, Mr. Farmer was retired from the United States Navy where he served as Hospital Corpsman Master Chief. He served in Viet Nam and Desert Storm. An avid body builder, he was a former Junior Mr. Arkansas, and enjoyed spelunking, hiking, and camping. Preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Eugene Farmer. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jane Downing Farmer; daughter, Deb Evans (Tim) of Conway; son, Scott Farmer of Little Rock; and a brother, Mel Farmer, of Austin, Texas. Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Little Rock, 62 Pleasant Valley Drive, Little Rock, Ark. 72212 with Dr. Jonathan Curtis officiating. Burial with Full Military Honors will follow at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Friday until service time.
