Elnora Hendrix

Elnora Hendrix, of Pine Bluff, Ark. passed away Friday, October 14, 2016 at the age of 98. Elnora was an avid quilter. She made beautiful quilts, not only to sell, but for her family members as well. Elnora was born January 26, 1918 in Idabel, Okla. Her parents moved to Camden, Ark. in 1924 when Elnora was six years old. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Joseph Toland, a son, Arthur Jerald Ritchey, a grandson, Jeffery Michael Stanford, a great-grandson, Randy Dewayne Nuckols, a niece, Linda Joyce McMichael. He survivors include a daughter, Melba Paysinger of Odessa, Texas, a son, Jerry Lynn Ritchey of Pine Bluff, Ark. two grandchildren, Pamela Ann Nuckols of McKinney, Texas, and Desmond Allen Stanford of Baton Rouge, La., two great-granddaughters, Christina and Jennifer Stanford of Grand Prairie, Texas, a niece, Betty Compton of Magnolia, Ark., and several nephews. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Camden under the direction of Proctor Funeral Home.
