Nancy Ann "Hank" Summerford

Nancy Ann "Hank" Summerford, 82, of Gould, died Monday at The Woods of Monticello. She was born October 17, 1934 in Florence, Ark., to the late Dayton and Aline Howard Allison. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Dumas, and was a farmer. Survivors include her husband, James Summerford of Gould; two sons, Al (Kay Triplett) Summerford of Anchorage, Alaska, and Dale Howard (Angela) Summerford of Crossett; two daughters, Lou Ann (Bill) Howard of Little Rock and Teresa S (David) Willard of West Monroe, La.; sister, Betty Lou Hughes of Monticello; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were 1 p.m. Friday at Griffin Funeral Chapel, with Bro. J.C. Patterson officiating. Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial at Holly Springs Cemetery.
