Anna Jean Reed

MRS ANNA JEAN REED, 87, of North Little Rock passed away Wednesday, Oct. 19. She was born in Clarendon, Ark., on Sept. 30, 1929 to David and Elizabeth Blankenship. Mrs. Reed worked for over 30 years for Union Pacific Railroad and was secretary/treasurer for Reed Machine Shop until her retirement. Mrs. Reed is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Louise Schratz and husband, Clarence Reed. She is survived by her sons David (Jo Beth) Reed of Hot Springs and Michael (Lisa) Reed of Maumelle as well as her grandchildren Amanda,Collin, Dylan and Alexa Reed. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 24 at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock with visitation one hour prior to the service.
