Juanita Ruth Copeland

JUANITA RUTH COPELAND, 86, of Jacksonville, passed away on Oct. 19, 2016. She was born on Oct. 5, 1930 in Bono, Ark., to the late Jessie Perkins and Elizabeth Perkins-Boyd. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons; Charles Copeland, Harold Copeland; two sisters; Lavada Copeland, Melbarine Boyd; three brothers, Leonard Boyd, Gene Perkins, Jessie Perkins; and one grandson, Christopher Copeland. Juanita was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jacksonville, and was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Survivors include three sons; Rodney Copeland (Dian), Roger Copeland, Allen Copeland (Stephanie); half sister, Laura Kellen; nine grandchildren, Charles Ray, Harold, Jimmy, Andrew, Timothy, Nathan, Lindsey Melissa, Billy Nicholson; nine great-grandchildren, Giles Christopher, Josh, Tristen, Kaitlyn, Trinity, David Ray, Kadance, Devon English, Johnny English; one great-great-grandchild, Oakland Forest Copeland. Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Monday, Oct. 24, 2016 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
