Lydia G. Venetta

Lydia G. Venetta, 91, passed peacefully in her sleep Oct. 14, 2016. She was born Jan. 7, 1925 to Clemmie Edna and Alonzo Gerdine Reynolds in Republican, Ark. Lydia was a member of Levy United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; six sisters, Ellie, Edith, Geneva, Dorothy, and Vaughn; two brothers, Joe and Bud; and her husband of sixty-four years, MSG. Charles Leo Venetta. She is survived by her sister Reva Jean Fieldson of Jones, Okla; daughters Martha Byrd (John) and Renee Robinson (Richard); grandchildren, Michael Byrd (Elizabeth), David Byrd (Sarah), and Ross Robinson (Kayla); and five great grandchildren Jackson, Mallory, Sophia, Blakely and Marley. Memorial Service will be held 12 p.m. Friday Oct. 28, 2016 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, North Little Rock, with inurnment to follow at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in Sherwood.
