Alice Pauline Gardner, 92, of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord Sunday, October 23, 2016. She was born May 12, 1924, to Lillie and Enoch Hollingsworth near Hermitage, Arkansas. Pauline was a member of River of Life Assembly of God Church and was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her son Paul Larry Gardner of Little Rock; her daughter, Linda Wheetley and husband Howard of Bryant; granddaughter, Jennifer Cook and husband Donald Martin of Fayetteville; three great-granddaughters, Bristen, Jillian and Charlotte Cook; one brother, James Gardner of Minden, Louisiana; one sister, Virginia Rice of Bryant; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Paul H. Gardner, two sisters, Almeta Wood and Mary Wallace and brothers, Ernest Gardner, Henry Hollingsworth and Ermon Hollingsworth. Visitation will be Friday, October 28, at 9 a.m. with services at 10 a.m. at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills in Alexander, Rev. Harold Cantley officiating.
