Betty Walloch Clough, born September 20, 1934 in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Ben and Evelyn (Boyd) Bushart and departed this life October 25th, 2016. Our mother began her Real Estate career in 1974 as Betty Walloch. She obtained her broker's license and was owner and principal broker of Walloch Realty from 1979-1984 when she joined the team at Rainey Realty, remaining there until her retirement in 2004. Mom loved real estate and had a very successful career, winning many awards, including the prestigious Sales and Marketing Executive Award in 1985, which was presented by then governor Bill Clinton. She was a life member of the Board of Realtors Million Dollar Club. In addition to being an outstanding real estate agent and businessperson, Mom was a generous soul who opened her heart and her home to anyone in need. She welcomed family members in times of need and offered sanctuary to nonfamily members, as well. There was always an extra seat at the table and an unused bed or sofa for anyone needing a little help. In addition, Mom often recounted how humbling and gratifying it was during the years she volunteered to serve at the Salvation Army on Christmas day. Thanksgiving was her favorite holiday. She cooked and baked for three days preparing a feast for our family, extended family, friends and neighbors. Everyone knew that it was the best time to visit and reconnect during Mom's Thanksgiving feast. On June 19, 1999, Mom married Charles Clough, the love of her life. She lived a fairy tale life until his unexpected death on August 27, 2002. After marrying Charlie, Mom decided to end her Real Estate career and enjoyed being pampered by Charlie and traveling with him to exotic places around the world. Mom enjoyed traveling, cooking and baking for her family and friends, doing things to help others in need, and interacting with her beloved Chihuahua, Cooper. She is survived by: sons: Mike Palmer (Greta), Pace; Florida; David Palmer (Michelle), Rogers, Arkansas, special nephew: Scott Bushart (Melanie), Little Rock, Arkansas, precious sister: Delores Martin, Little Rock, Arkansas, brother: Charles Bushart, The Philippines, bonus children: Casey Clough, California; Cory Clough (Nicole), California; Caren Clough, California; Robert Walloch, Alabama; Sandra Synar, Hawaii; Alyssa Mckinney, Pace Florida; Braydon Palmer, Pace Florida; Caleigh Mckinney, Pace Florida, grandchildren: Michelle Cebula, Little Rock, Arkansas; Christy Higgins (Tony), Benton, Arkansas; Shayne Brewer (Belinda), Little Rock, Arkansas; Wesley Palmer (Sujin), Rogers, Arkansas, bonus grandchildren: Brian Clough; Jesse Sibley (Dory), Italy; Echo Raffaela (Raffa), Italy; Michael Walloch (Karen) Little Rock, Arkansas, great-grandchildren: Candra Cebula, Taylor Brewer, Avery Brewer, Christopher Palmer, TJ Higgins, bonus great-grandchildren: Elizabetta Sibley, Zachary Walloch, Sophie Walloch, Isabeau Rafaela.
